Don Julio Rosado

DESCRIPTION:

Don Julio Rosado is a distinctive reposado tequila made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, bringing together traditional Mexican tequila-making with an elegant wine-cask finish. After its initial maturation, the tequila is finished for four months in Ruby Port wine casks from Portugal’s Douro Valley, giving it a delicate pink hue and an extra layer of fruit-driven character.

On the nose, it is crisp and gently sweet, with the fresh agave character complemented by subtle fruit notes. The palate is smooth and light, showing dried red fruit and caramel, with a soft sweetness that develops from the Ruby Port cask finishing. The finish is clean, sweet and smooth, making it an easy-drinking style of reposado tequila.

A modern take on barrel-aged tequila, Don Julio Rosado works beautifully served over ice, either neat or with a splash of soda and a lemon garnish. It also brings its fruit-forward character to cocktails where a softer, sweeter tequila style is desired.
