DESCRIPTION:

KURIO Crimson Jam is a vibrant Tasmanian blended malt whisky created by the team behind LARK Distilling Co. It brings together exceptional Tasmanian single malts, with the blend uniquely finished in Tasmanian cherry and sparkling wine-seasoned casks. The result is a fruit-forward whisky that combines rich jammy sweetness with a gentle layer of apple-wood smoke.

The nose bursts with jammy red fruits and honeyed apricot, followed by hints of nutmeg, toasted oak and a subtle smoky character. On the palate, it is rich and full-flavoured, showing Black Forest cake, caramelised figs, dark chocolate and sweet cherry, balanced by warming baking spice and smooth Tasmanian oak.

The finish is long and luscious, with flavours of cherry jam, silky custard and velvety mocha lingering alongside a gentle earthy smokiness. Designed to be versatile and approachable, Crimson Jam works beautifully neat or over ice, while its bold fruit character also makes it an excellent choice for a Highball or Old Fashioned.
