O:Tu Classic Marlborough Pinot Gris. Pinot Gris. Same grape as Pinot Grigio, made in a richer style.
Pear, honeysuckle and a touch of ginger, carried on a rounder palate. Some makers leave it on skins briefly, which is where the faint copper tint in a Gris comes from.
Made for drinking now rather than keeping. Chill it well and pair it with charcuterie, chicken or something spiced.
