Definitely deserving of its reputation! Winemaker Tod Dexter has had a long romance with Pinot Noir & that is clearly translated into his wines.
The Dexter vineyard is on a north facing slope which allows for maximum & even sun interception as well as drainage. The vines enjoy the evening sea breeze from Port Philip Bay, Westernport Bay & Bass Straight which helps moderate the temperatures
