Tim Adams Clare Valley Pinot Gris

A Clare Valley Pinot Gris built for texture rather than weight. The rose-gold colour is kept on purpose, and it tells you straight away this is a gris in the fuller style, not a lean grigio.

Lifted aromas of pear, lychee and white peach, with a little fresh ginger and a lift of citrus behind them. Ripe nashi pear and stone fruit carry through the middle of the palate.

It finishes with a kiss of lemon zest and clean, cleansing acidity. Made in an off-dry style, so the touch of sweetness sits alongside the acid rather than on top of it.

Serve it properly cold. Good with roast pork, chicken, soft cheeses and anything with a bit of spice to it.
