DESCRIPTIONS

Premium parcels of Merlot fruit were fermented in rotary and static fermenters. The following fermentation on skins for seven to ten days they were gently pressed after which the wine was matured with French oak for 3 to 6 months before blending and bottling. The resulting wine has excellent depth of color, richness, and complexity.

TASTING NOTES

Juicy dark berries with subtle toasty oak and soft silky tannins.

FOOD MATCH

Beef and porcini mushrooms with polenta bake, lamb ragu with cauliflower gnocchi, grilled vegetable skewers.
