This drop is blasting with chest-beating character! Inspired by the Howler Monkeys of Panama that swing tree to tree in the deep rainforests, picking and tasting fermenting berries that mustn't be too ripe nor too sour.

Wine makers Troy Jones & Behn Payten are two mates that have been making wine for 13 years. They focus on small batch, preservative free, minimal intervention wines.  Describing their wines like being at a live gig instead of listening to a recorded track. We find their raw, unpretentious attitude towards wine making pretty cool!

Tasting Notes

A smooth, well balanced wine that still retains its rock star personality. Deep garnet in colour. On the nose, delicious blackcurrants, violet perfume with an earthy undertone. 

On the palate, green pepper spices that gently peak early. The whole bunch peeps through from the mid palate, giving it that little bit of OOMPH, adding to the wine's complexity. Savoury edges. A lingering ride that's gradual and graceful.
