The use of whole bunches has become part of all of Yangarra's Shiraz winemaking. The King's Wood Shiraz is from a single block of Shiraz (block 12) which showcased a particular style perfectly suited to whole bunch and large format oak.

Hand-picked and estate grown in Kangarilla, McLaren Vale.  

Named after the Royal Oaks and King’s Wood forests, planted by monarchs to build cathedrals and navies. Possibly a metaphor for the structure provided by whole bunch fermentation in the creation of this grand wine?  

Tasting Notes 

A beautifully balanced Shiraz with notes of olive tapenade, back pepper with a rich texture and whole mouth feel.
